Teus Nobel

I don't like to call it 'jazz', I call it 'social music' - Miles Davis. For this third album Social Music, Teus Nobel joined forces with producer and multi-instrumentalist Merlijn Verboom (NL). Their compositions were based on sounds and noises that surround us every day. For 'Tonky Tonky', they cooperated with classical musicians Yannick Hiwat (violin) and Bram van Sambeek (bassoon).

Na de fusionklanken van debuutalbum FLOW en het meer akoestische album LEGACY komt Teus Nobel in 2016 met het dirty electronic jazz album SOCIAL MUSIC. Dit album is het resultaat van een intensieve samenwerking met producer/componist/muzikale duizendpoot Merlijn Verboom. Het album is doordrenkt met electronica en ademt invloeden van Flying Lotus, Moondog en de Bitches Brew periode van trompetlegende Miles Davis.
