As the successor of debut album Flow, the Legacy album displays Teus' tributes to his musical fathers, transforming their signature marks into fresh new compositions. The album received international praises, including magazine Downbeat. Teus Nobel was rewarded the Laren Jazz Award 2015 based on this album.

Verwacht geen covers of ‘nabootsingen’; op LEGACY gaan Teus en zijn volledig gerenoveerde quintet op geheel eigen wijze de signaturen te lijf die grootheden als Miles Davis, Roy Hargrove en Woody Shaw nalieten.
